About Dylan

Now that you know my technical side, get to know the real me as well. I was born in North Texas, but I've lived in Austin since 2014. I studied at Austin Community College, but I found a love for coding and technology through the Coding Bootcamp at UT Austin. Before getting my first Software Support job, I spent five years working in an all-natural pet store in Austin. I have always loved dogs!

My own dog is named Fawn, she is a retriever mix who is now 12 years old. I began fostering her in 2015 while working at the pet store and promptly adopted her. She loves going on walks and sniffing everything she can. She hates getting baths. I like to go on hikes around Austin and swim in the springs and greenbelt in my free time. I also like to go indoor bouldering to stay in shape, although I am not exactly an expert at it. I love to travel to places off the beaten path, and I plan multiple yearly camping trips with my group of friends.

I enjoy cooking and trying new food, and I have a deep love for good coffee. My go-to order is most likely a black cold brew, but I am known to mix it up. In my free time at home, I enjoy watching movies and reading books. When I have time, I like to play PC games with friends as well.
